Concern over Brodie Retallick following a dislocated shoulder

All Black fans and the coaching staff will be sweating over Brodie Retallick's availability after Steve Hansen confirmed that the second-rower dislocated his shoulder in the drawn test with the Springboks in Wellington.

Retallick was left in agony after he was cleared out of a ruck with 20 minutes left to play and the All Blacks head coach has now confirmed that the lock has dislocated his shoulder, casting huge doubt over his Rugby World Cup.

“He has dislocated his shoulder and is on the way to hospital” Steve Hansen told reporters in the post-match press conference.

The former World Player of the Year played a crucial role in the All Blacks' World Cup victory in 2015 and the test against the Springboks was his 200th first class match.

South Africa denied New Zealand victory in Wellington for a second successive year as Herschel Jantjies' last-gasp try meant a see-saw Rugby Championship clash finished 16-16 on Saturday.
