Combined XV: Scotland vs. Ireland
- 1416
Round two of the Six Nations kicks off with Ireland and Scotland going head to head at Murrayfield.
We take a look at what a combined XV would look like from the two teams named for today's clash.
An all Irish front of Cian Healy, Rory Best and Tadhg Furlong make the cut with Scotland also struggling with a few injuries in that department. The talented James Ryans is joined by the hardworking Jonny Gray in the second row with the inform Grant Gilchrist missing out.
Peter O 'Mahony and Sean O'Brien pack down on the side of the scrum with Josh Strauss just edging Jack Connan for the final position in the pack.
Judging on last weekend's games, Greig Laidlaw and Finn Russell would take the starting roles but there are few halfback pairings better than that of Jonathan Sexton and Conor Murray.
In the centres, Bundee Aki beats Sam Johnson to the 12 jersey and partners up with Huw Jones.
The team is completed with the outstanding back three of Jacob Stockdale, Keith Earls and Stuart Hogg.
