Champions Cup Round 2 Preview

The second round of the Champions Cup takes place this weekend and here is what all rugby fans get to witness in the coming days.
Gary Rinrose was in electric form last weekend, as Leinster produced a bonus point victory against Benetton at home. Northampton also got off to winning ways as they put away Lyon which could’ve been real slippery game for them.
Both teams are expected to win this weekend but it must be said that Leinster probably have the toughest outing as they travel to France.

English side Exeter kicked off their campaign with a bonus point 12-31 win over La Rochelle, a huge coup away from home while Glasgow narrowly beat Sale 13-7 at Scotstoun. The Chiefs picked up a try bonus point, while Sale managed to pick up a losing bonus point which keeps the group a bit open.
Exeter or Glasgow will be able to take full control of the Pool this weekend if they win, while the Sharks and La Rochelle are fighting to stay in closing distance.

Clermont smashed London outfit Harlequins 53-21 away from home last weekend and they look like the team to beat in this pool. Although Ulster also picked up a win in their opening encounter they will have their work cut out if they want to finish top.
Ulster and Clermont will battle for pools top spot this weekend and this could shape things a little bit.

This pool was always going to be a three horse race but with Sarries not even picking up a losing bonus point against Racing last weekend they now have it all to do! Munster put away Ospreys which was no surprise at all but this weekend they got a tougher task.
Saracens will be expected to get back to winning ways this weekend, While Munster and Racing fight for top spot.

Toulouse had to come from behind to see off a stubborn Gloucester side who led most of the game last Friday night, while Connacht beat a tricky Montpellier side.
This group is still wide open and with Gloucester facing Montpellier away this could be do or die for them a little bit in the group.
