Brent Janse van Rensburg has resigned as head coach of the Boland Cavaliers after one season in charge.
Janse van Rensburg, who was appointed by the Union in January of this year, said: “I am thankful for the opportunity afforded to me to be able to contribute to Boland Rugby and feel the team is in a better place than it was in January this year.
“I am incredibly proud of this group of players, the efforts they gave and also very thankful to our management team for their time invested into the team. It has been a memorable year that has certainly contributed towards my growth and I wish everyone involved with Boland Rugby the best.”
President of the Boland Rugby Union, Ivan Pekeur added that Boland is already considering candidates to fill his shoes, and "Boland Rugby’s doors will always be open for Brent to assist with his knowledge and inputs in order for Boland Rugby to reach even greater heights in the seasons to come.”
