London Irish have confirmed that scrum-half Brendan McKibbin has signed new terms with the club.
McKibbin joined London Irish ahead of the 2015/16 season following a victorious Super Rugby campaign with the Waratahs in 2014.
The 31-year-old has scored three times for his team so far this season and admits that is was an easy decision to re-sign with the Exiles.
"Ever since I joined London Irish I have been very impressed with the infrastructure and ambition of the club,” said McKibbin.
"There is a world class set-up here at London Irish with state of the art training facilities, coupled with a superb management team headed up by Brendan Venter.
"I'm relishing the season run-in and I'm itching to play my part in helping the club gain promotion back to the Premiership.”
Irish Director of Rugby Nick Kennedy said: "We have a lot of strength in depth in the scrum-half position and Brendan's energy and enthusiasm this season has heightened competition for places.
"He knows exactly what it takes to win trophies having enjoyed success down under, and we are pleased to have a player of his calibre re-sign with the club.”
