Bordeaux sign Volavola and Fidow

Bordeaux-Begles have confirmed the signings of medical jokers Ben Volavola and Ed Fidow. 

26-year-old Volavola can play at flyhalf and fullback and has 19 test caps for Fiji to his name and represented his country at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Volavola has signed on with the club until January and arrives in France off the back of an impressive Mitre 10 Cup campaign with North Harbour. 

24-year-old Fidow is currently representing Brisbane City in the NRC and is expected to join the club in early November. 

The following players are currently on Bordeaux's injury list: Darly Domvo (dislocated ankle), Nathan Decron (Cruciate ligament knee), Api Naqalevu (quadriceps), Julien Rey (knee), Romain Lonca (knee) and Blair Connor (thigh)
