Aviva Premiership Highlights: Newcastle Falcons Vs Exeter Chiefs (Round 08)

Exeter Chiefs ran out bonus point victors over Newcastle Falcons in this AVIVA Premiership clash at Kingston Park. Exeter started brightly with Ollie Devoto intercepting and slipping through the Newcastle defence and powering home for a try. Newcastle hit back with a try of their own but Exeter scored another before the break. Newcastle were reduced to 14 in the second half and during this spell Exeter were able to really take hold of the game and assert their dominance scoring an excellent try when James Short went over in the corner following an impressive display of fast hand and great footwork from the whole Exeter back line. Ultimately a lack of discipline from Newcastle cost them as they came up against a clinical and well drilled Exeter side. One for the Falcons to forget this evening, whereas the Chiefs will be looking to continue this bonus point winning form going forward.
