Australian U20s Tyrel Lomax signs for Rebels

The Rebels have signed hulking Australian U20s tighthead prop Tyrel Lomax from the Brumbies.

The 20-year-old, son of former Rugby League international and Canberra Raiders legend John Lomax, has signed his first professional contract - a two-year deal with the Rebels from 2017.

Tyrel has been a critical member of the Australian U20s in 2015 and 2016, which included starting every game of Australia’s recent World Rugby U20s Championship campaign in Manchester.
