Argentina Make 3 Changes to Face Ireland

Argentina have made three changes from the team that played Italy (37-16) in Treviso.

Recovered from a knee discomfort, Guido Petti will rejoin the squad, while Santiago Grondona will be in the third line, Pablo Matera being at No. 8. The third change will be in the backs, where Lucio Cinti from La Plata will go as wing (it is his first game in that position), in the place of Santiago Cordero.

For Grondona, it will be his sixth test-match with the national jersey, the second game as a starter, after the December 5, 2020 performance in front of the Wallabies.

Matera, meanwhile, will play eighth for the fourth time in the team; The first time was on 8/15/2015 against South Africa in Buenos Aires (he was as a substitute and replaced Juan Manuel Leguizamón), and the other two occasions were the starter and recently: 9/18/2021 against New Zealand and on 9/25/2021 against Australia.

The match against Ireland, the third and last match of the tour, will be the day after tomorrow from 11:15 am in Argentina, at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
