Alex Coles undaunted by Munster trip

Northampton Saints lock Alex Coles is refusing to be overly concerned by the Gallagher Premiership club’s trip to Ireland on Saturday to take on Munster Rugby in the Heineken Champions Cup – even though they have struggled on the road so far this season.
Indeed, Saints are bottom of Pool B without a point, following defeats at Stade Rochelais (46-12) and at home to Munster (17-6), and take on the Irish province fresh from a 35-12 domestic drubbing at Exeter Chiefs last weekend.
However, Cole said: “It’s not a daunting test; I would say it’s really exciting. It’s one of the best places to go and play rugby in Europe, from what I’ve been told.
“The fans should be super-excited for the trip down there and we’re buzzing. When you get hurt and you get wounded, like we were against Exeter, you often see a spike in the next game, and we need to make sure we bring that.”
