The Stormers sidestep the Blues

The Stormers will stay in South Africa ahead of the quarter final's of the URC as they secure a bonus point win against Cardiff at Cape Town Stadium and will travel to Durban for the play off's. With Cardiff getting an early red card ther writing was on the wall but the visitors stayed in the game until a Connor Evans try in the 71st minute. 

Dafydd Hughes scored a season defining try with four minutes to play, the try gave them the try bonus point and brought them within seven points of the Stormers thanks to a good Callum Sheedy conversion. Cruelly, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu kicked a penalty as the hooter sounded to take a point away, Cardiff leave Cape Town with just one point and wait on results from Edinburgh v Ulster and Munster v Benetton to go their way.
