2023 EPCR Player of the Year shortlist: Antoine Dupont
- 2271
Stade Toulousain scrum-half Antoine Dupont is again included on the five-man shortlist for the EPCR Player of the Year award after another superlative campaign.
The France international, who was the 2021 EPCR Player of the Year, has been nominated for the 2023 award after helping Toulouse to the Heineken Champions Cup semi-finals.
Dupont was at the forefront of Toulouse’s march to the last four, starting in all seven of their games and crossing for a try brace against Sale Sharks in Round 2.
The 26-year-old was the focal point for his team and is among the leading players in this season’s Heineken Champions Cup when it comes to carries (68), metres made (349) and line breaks (10), while he leads the way for defenders beaten (27) and offloads (19).
