We are back in action at Adam's Park.
Half time in Wycombe and its the home side who who lead. Wasps will be happier with that half given the wind was in their faces. Richard Cockerill called it a 10-point wind but the gusts in the first half will be nothing compared to the hairdrier treatment he may give Leicester at the break. A tighter then expected affair here in London and its all still very much to play for. Stay tuned for the second 40!
The attack breaks down but there was advantage being played and Leicester get a penalty right in front of the posts. Williams lands his third of the afternoon
Simpson tackled without the ball. Great kick from wide on the left about 40m out, straight and true 13-6
Penalty against Daly for holding on to the ball. Straight and inside the 22, so as routine as you can ask for. 10-6
High tackle, 26m out to the right and Andy Goode makes no mistake. A seven-point lead in these conditions is very positive for the home side. 10-3
TMO decides there is not enough evidence of foul play against Daly. Right decision in my opinion. There was contact with a Leicester head but not conclusively deliberate. Still 7-3
Good Wasps pressure ends with Leicester hoofing the ball two-thirds of the way down the pitch. Ball goes into touch and yet again we have another throw not straight. Both teams will have to resort to shorter throws if they want to have any chance of maintaining possession in this wind.
A sharp Leicester attack breaks down. They are dominating the territorial possession here but have little to show for it. They have to make more use of the wind at their backs as it's getting stronger. 7-3
And another line-out not straight. The players are quietly suggesting some leeway. Ref is having none of it.
