Oyonnax nearly score a try in the corner but Jenneker knocks on when reaching for the line. They then win a penalty from the resulting scrum but they turn down the points in favor of going for a try. They lose their own scrum and bordeaux clear their lines
Oyonnax kick off to start this second half. Lets hope this half can be as good as the first
After a scintillating start to the game were we had 3 tries in the first 15 minutes the weather has gotten the better of the teams as a lot of players are making unforced errors. This game looks like its going to be decided on whos set piece is more effective and at the moment its certainly Bordeaux who have the upper hand, it really is their game to lose.
The lineout is proving to be a great weapon for bordeaux. Again they secure their lineout and get front foot ball, Bernard goes fort he up and under tactic but unfortunately kicks it too long. 22 dropout for Oyonnax
Just as I say that Bordeaux score a wonderfully worked try off the back of a lineout. Rey crashes through the midfield to score the try
Its has quietened down since those early scores mainly due to handling errors as a result of the wet weather
Straight from Kick off Nemecek goes over after some good forwards plat. Some game we have on our hands. Barely time to breathe
After winning their line out at their opponents 22 Bernard kicks a lovely cross field ball which is collected by Talebula who scores for Bordeaux second try of the game
After a reset scrum Bordeaux go blindside and winger Connor goes over for the first try of the game
Welcome to Ultimate Rugby’s coverage of today’s Top 14 clash between Bordeaux Begles and Oyonnax. Bordeaux are coming into this game off two close bonus-point loses and so will be looking to use their home advantage to get their season back on track. Conversely, Oyonnax, the surprise package of this season, will be looking for their third win in a row after two impressive victories over last season champions, Castres, and Biarritz. Although it is early in the season both these teams’ goals are to avoid relegation so whoever wins will have the advantage in the chase for survival. With that in mind this should be an interesting match and I hope you enjoy our coverage of it.
