What an end to the game, Bordeaux have beaten Racing by 30 points to 21. After an impressive first half by the home side, Racing came out all fired up in the second and after scoring early and with momentum on their side, looked to have the game in their hands but it was not to be. The Bordeaux defence was superb holding the Racing attack out time and time again, and after a breakaway try from Rey the win was sealed. Thomas responded quickly for Racing to cut down the lead but as they pressed in search of the win and Intercept by Guitoune ended the game.
