Niel Marais puts in a massive kick down field, but the ball goes out on the full. UCT lineout on the Shimlas 22m line.

The second half is underway. UCT regather the ball from the kickoff but an accidental obstruction leads to a Shimlas scrum on their own 22m line.

UCT form a maul 5m out which is well defender by Shimlas. Solomon does brilliantly to pick the ball up at the ruck and break two tackles and run 15m to score a try near the corner. Fantastic individual effort. Seals misses the conversion which could prove vital as they now trail by 6 points.

UCT put some great attacking phases together, making good ground from every phases. Eventually Niell Jordaan is penalised for going off his feet while trying to steal the ball at the ruck.

Shimlas Conraad van Vuuren is penalised inside the UCT 22m for holding onto the ball. Seals sets up a lineout near halfway.

Finally the Shimlas are able to complete a scrum. UCT have been far stronger at scrum.

Shimlas are rewarded for their great defensive effort and win a penalty for playing the ball on the ground. They quickly kick the ball up field and chase it, which catches UCT unaware. Dylan Sage is then found isolated and is penalised for holding onto the ball. Shimlas set up a 5m lineout.

UCT have plenty of possession inside the Shimlas 22m area, but are unable to get over the advantage line.
