South Africa and Georgia clash in the opening round of the World Rugby Under 20 Championship. The Baby Boks came in third spot in last years tournament, while Georgia finished 10th. Hosts France and Ireland make up the rest of the pool.

These two sides met for two warm-up matches ahead of the tournament with South Africa winning both matches 48-23 and 55-14 respectively
