Samoa 2 tries ahead but only 2 points the difference, Scotland are creeping their way back through the safe boot of Laidlaw and mistakes of the Samoans.
Scotland lucky to go into the break just 5 points behind, Its been all Samoa in the first 40 minutes. Continuity seems to be an issue for both teams especially in the danger zones. A lot of individual players trying to break the gainline with Samoa making the most of this type of game play through brutes like Tualigi and Lam. Can Samoa hold out in the second half to achieve their first ever win against this northern hemisphere team.
The Samoans seem to becoming regulars in Scotland's 22, however are failing to convert this territory into greater dominance in the scoreboard.
The brute power of the Samoan team seem to be taking more than one tackler to take down. However this dominance has not transferred over to the scrum where Scotland seem to be in charge.
Fun Fact:
Samoa have never beaten Scotland.
Scotlands first chance of a try is denied, Laidlaw with a chip through is picked up by Scott however Scott held onto the ball in the tackle and the play is brought back for an earlier infringement for collapsing the maul. Scotland add 3 more points through the boot of Laidlaw
