Fantastic play from Bastareaud as he turns over the ball again. Machenaud clears the ball and Hogg tries a drop goal from range which is caught by Dulin. The Castres full back goes on another one of his runs and gets past 2 before offloading to Mermoz who gets it to Lapandry but the flankers knocks the ball forward. Scotland with the scrum on halfway.

Scotland are piling on the pressure and another kick from Laidlaw is picked up by Dulin with Scottish jerseys everywhere closing him down and eventually the referee says the ball is held up and Scotland get the put in just outside the French 5 meter line.

Phillip Saint Andre must be pulling out his hair, well whatever hair he has left. France have a lineout on the 22 and Mach throw fails to reach a France hand and Scotland get the ball.
