Pffft mighty scarlets
The Scarlets maul rumbled ominously towards the Dragons line but Nic Cudd was able to get his hands on the ball and force the turnover.
It gets worse for the Dragons as Rhys Thomas goes to the bin after coming in through the side of a Scarlets maul.
The Scarlets can't control the ball at the scrum and are forced to play it but that only delays the try by a few phases, as Ken Owens takes a pass from Priestland and rides two tackles to score. Bonus point for Scarlets and probably the game.
Scarlets win a penalty at the scrum. Expect a penalty try to be forthcoming.
Don't let this slip Scarlets!
The Dragons decision already looks a bad one as the Scarlets march all the way to their 5m line and win a penalty after Andrew Coombs goes offside. The Scarlets opt for the scrum and are going for the bonus point try now.
Dragons start the second half stongly as Faletau barrels into the Scarlets 22 and the home side get penalised for not releasing the tackler. Burton kicks the penalty and all of a sudden the Dragons have scored 13 points in about 5 minutes of play. But should they not be going for tries given the Scarlets firepower?
Come on the mighty dragons
Right on halftime Priestland tries to unlock the Dragons defence but his pass gets picked off by Burton. He gives an admirable effort at sprinting for the line but luckily he has Tom Prydie in support to finish it off. A little lucky after turning down the chance at a try moments earlier, but the Dragons are back in the game now.
