The Newcastle Falcons host the Exeter Chiefs in the opening round of the Premiership Rugby Cup. In the domestic Premiership it would be top v bottom, with the Falcons having recorded just a single victory while Exeter remain unbeaten. Newcastle have performed outstandingly in the Champions Cup though, with two wins from two to currently top Pool 5. Exeter have struggled a bit in the Champions Cup with a draw and defeat to lie bottom of their pool, but they will look to draw on their brilliant domestic form in this new competition.
