Hugely brave call from O'Connell to go for the posts could well have blown up in the second row's face as he sees his side go down narrowly at the Aviva Stadium. Several occasions in the second period when he or Varley opted for the sticks instead of going down the line but nonetheless, probably on the basis of the game as a whole. Leinster deserve to come away with the four points in the bag. Not very many notable performance from any players really, but for us Simon Zebo and Shane Jennings had good showings in front of the onlooking Joe Schmidt, John Plumtree and Les Kiss.
