In team news Leinster welcome back-row Sean O'Brien who returns to the team for the first time since injuring his shoulder against Ulster in December. It was thought that his injury would keep him out for the entire season but he has recovered ahead of schedule and now could feature in the semi and maybe final. O'Brien will play alongside Murphy who comes in for Jennings while in the second row Leo Cullen comes in for McCarthy. There is also a different front row from last week with McGrath, Strauss and Ross starting. While in the backline Gopperth gets the nod at 10 instead of Madigan and McFadden comes in for Rob Kearney. As for Edinburgh they make 3 changes to the side that were destroyed by Munster last week. Jack Cuthbert who was called up to play for the Scotland 7's is replaced by Carl Bezuidenhout at fullback and the other change in the backline see's Sam Beard start on the wing in place of the injured Tom Brown. There is only one change in the pack with Ben Toolis earning only his second start of the season meaning Cornell Du Preez. drops out and Denton moves to his more familiar role at number 8 after deputising at second row last week. Kick is coming up so stay with us for further updates and analysis.
Hello and welcome to Ultimate Rugby's live coverage in the penultimate weekend in the Rabo PRO12 where Edinburgh travel to the RDS to take on reigning champions. Leinster who sit pretty at the top of the table know they will only need a point to secure a semi-final spot against an Edinburgh side who have nothing to play for. However Edinburgh are one of few teams to have defeated Leinster till season after winning 11-6 when the two sides met in Murrayfield in round 10. There record in Dublin is not the best though and they have not won here since 2005. For Leinster they really are the form team in the league as they look for back to back titles. The Blues have only lost 1 game in their last 11 games in the league and will be hoping to get what they need here today to secure first seedings and play their semi and hopefully final in The RDS where they have had such an impressive record over the years. Kick off is an hour away so stay with us for further updates and analysis.
