Treviso collected the ball from the restart and went through the phases. The clock hit's the 40 minute mark and Botes clears the ball to end the first half with Leinster ahead 29-7 at the break.

Treviso get a try just before the break and it is a penalty try for the Italians. Treviso won the lineout and formed a maul. Barbieri had the ball at the back and the maul continued to go towards the tryline and Boss came in from the side with Barbieri certain to scored and tackled the number 8.Very cynical from the scrum half and the referee gave a penalty try and sent Boss to the bin. Mistake from Brian O'Driscoll but in the end Treviso are still scoreless. The Centre tried a grubber kick but Barbieri was there to block it and chases the ball as he searched for a try. Lucky for Leinster Fanning was there first and so was O'Driscoll who got the pass outwide to Kirchner and the South African cleared the ball for the Blues.but it went straight out Treviso have the lineout 10 meters out
