Its the Currie Cup Final and The Golden Lions will be looking to cap a scintillating season of unbeaten rugby by taking home the cup this afternoon. In their way however, are the defending champions Western Province who have grown in confidence steadily over the last couple of weeks, and will take some beating to stop them from taking the cup back home to Cape Town. The maych of course a rematch of last years' final where WP came out tops to win the title, but, the Lions have the bit between the teeth and will come out guns blazing to avoid the same feat of last year.
Western Province have won the trophy 33 times versus the 10 times the Lions have won it. Both sides have exciting players in their line ups who could definitely light up the occasion.
