The Auckland rush defence was beaten by a little grubber kick collected by Osborne. He was brought down by a last gasp ankle tap but managed to pass to Mo'unga who stepped off both feet to draw defenders before a neat pass to Whitelock for the try

Bleyendaal & McNicholl have a go at the line around the fringes of the ruck and eventually Heinz finds a tight forward in the first channel and Everson gets the 5 pointer

Ball comes out the scrum and McNicholl goes blind but is wrapped up in defence. They recycle it and are still on attack

Charles Piutau is forced to carry the ball back over his line and dot it down after an expansive pass by Anscombe finds the man but goes straight through his hands. Kicked ahead by Adam Whitelock and now the Canterbury side have a great position for a scrum

Great line break and chip by Mo'unga after the Canterbury side send the ball from left to right. Anscombe does well to track back and get the ball first to save a certain try
