The Tongans concede a penalty inside their own half when the tackler fails to roll away. Canada point to the posts and Pritchard obliges from long range, and the gap narrows to four.
Come on Canada!
Tonga draw first blood in the third minute. Canada spill the ball forward almost immediately following the kick-off, and gift the Tongans with a scrum in an excellent position. A sniping run from Moa off the back, creates space for Vainikolo on a scything line. He tears through the defence but is brought down short. The Tongans recycle quickly and feed the ball to Lokotui on the wing who crosses.
