Hello and welcome to the opening game of the World u20 Championships. Australia take on Italy at the CRAI in Santo Tomé. Australia will look to start the tournament on the right foot against a team they have not lost to. they come into the tournament on the back of an Oceania U20 title success, while Italy need to get back to winning ways after poor Six Nations, in which they only won their opening fixture against Scotland.
The Italian side were forced into 2 changes in their tournament squad due to injury with replacements Andrea Zambonin and Angelo Maurizi taking the place of Marco Butturini and Davide Goldin.
Itlay will be captained by Davide Ruggeri
The Junior Wallabies have named just 2 uncapped players in their 28 man match day squad, Rhys van Nek and Nick Frost.

This U20 World Championship will see the trail used in the 20 Oceania Championship continue. All teams will be able to name a 28-man squad for matchdays. Of the 13 reserves, only 8 players are able to be used as replacements during the match.
