An outstanding performer from an early age, Karemaker first made his name by making the South African U19 team in 2003 & 2004.Following two great years with the Western Province U20s, the loose forward then made his senior debut for WP in 2005 and a Currie Cup debut in 2006. Looking for a fresh challenge, Karemaker then moved to Kimberley in 2010 where still dominates for the Griquas team.
