Sue had previously focused on playing touch, sevens and rugby league.
She came off the bench against Australia at Eden Park to earn her first cap and ended the season with four appearances to her credit, all as a finisher.
Currently Head of the Physical Education Department at Wanganui Girls College, Sue will head into the 2017 Women's World Cup with 7 caps.
