Willem Alberts has extended his contract with Stade Francais for one season, plus an optional one.
Arriving at the Stade Français after the 2015 World Cup, the South African international has made 20 starts in 20 matches in the Top 14 and one in the European Challenge Cup
Alberts spent the first 4 years of his professional career at the Lions where he played Currie Cup and Super Rugby.
In 2010, he made a rather controversial move to the Sharks in Durban and later was selected to the Springbok squad of 39 players to prepare for the November tour of Europe the same year.
