What does the future hold for Louw?

Francois Louw is in the final year of his three-year with Bath and the Premiership club is yet to offer the experienced Springbok flanker a new deal with the club still undecided whether they want to keep him.

The 33-year-old, who joined from Super Rugby franchise Stormers in 2011, is understood to be one of the highest paid players in the squad.

Louw was a standout performer against Toulouse putting in a breakdown Masterclass despite a significant amount of air mileage under his belt recently. 

However, the Bath coaches and management will be weighing up whether, when international call-ups and injuries are taken into account, Louw continues to offer good value for money.
