Denver win inaugural ProRugby USA match
Just hours after a thick layer of snow was removed from the Infinity Park pitch, Denver and visiting side Ohio took to the field in the first match of the ProRugby USA tournament.
Ohio looked to be the stronger team, but a few knock-ons over the try line prevented them from putting points on the board. Denver picked up the pace in the 2nd half, with a great comeback in the last quarter of the game to draw things level.
A sudden death over time penalty sealed the victory for the home team in freezing conditions.
Kenya win first ever World Sevens Series Cup Final
Kenya powered to a 30-7 win over Fiji in the Singapore Sevens Cup Final having scored 20 unanswered points in the first half.
"This is such a special feeling. We've worked hard since day one and coming into the final we had to believe and we had to play ball," said captain Colins Injera.
The Keyans looked emotional but relaxed as they sang their national anthem in front of the 50 000 strong crowd before hammering Fiji in the opening minutes of the game.

The Japanese side suffered a humiliating 92-17 defeat against the Cheetahs on Friday night. The home side dominated from the minute the whistle blew and pushed hard to score their 17 points against a side that turned most of their visits to the opposing 22 into points.
