Murray to see Knee Specialist: Conor Murray is a doubt for this weekends Pro12 final after sustaining a knee injury in the semi-final clash with Ospreys. Murray is set to see a specialist today to determine if the injury is serious. The scrum-half was injured along side Simon Zebo, who suffered a concussion and also has not trained this week. Also missing from the session were squad captain Peter O'Mahony, back-row Paddy Butler, hooker Eusebio Guinazu and outside centre Andrew Smith. With a final coming up this weekend, they all face a race against time to be fit for the huge clash against Glasgow at the Kingspan Stadium.
Retallick & Savea sign on: All Blacks Brodie Rettalick and Julian Savea have signed long-term deals with the NZRU and their Super Rugby clubs for the next 4 years. The pair have re-signed until 2019, securing their future for after the 2019 World Cup. 23-year old Retallick and 24-year old Savea made their Test debuts alongside each other in 2012 and have been described as very significant signings by NZRU chief Steve Tew and stops the recent exile to Europe. Both found the decision to stay in NZ easy with Savea saying he didn't think twice about moving and Rettalick stating that back-to-back World Cup's was a huge motivator.
