Coaching duo to leave Munster
Munster Rugby and the IRFU have confirmed that Forwards Coach Jerry Flannery and Backline and Attack Coach Felix Jones will depart the province at the end of the season.
Both coaches have declined their respective contract offers, and will come to the end of their current contracts in June. Full story
Richie Gray and Duncan Weir absent from Scotland squad
Richie Gray and Duncan Weir have missed out on places in Scotland's 42-man training squad ahead of the Rugby World Cup, but three uncapped players have been included.
The trio of uncapped stars include Grant Stewart and Blade Thomson, who have been involved with squads previously, while there is a first call-up for Northampton Saints centre Rory Hutchinson. Full squad
England men U20 squad for World Rugby U20 Championship
England men U20s head coach Steve Bates has named his 28-player squad for the 2019 World Rugby U20 Championship in Argentina (4-22 June).
The group includes nine players who have appeared in the tournament before with props Joe Heyes, Marcus Street, lock Joel Kpoku, backrow forwards Josh Basham, Ted Hill, Aaron Hinkley, Tom Willis, fly half Marcus Smith and centre Fraser Dingwall all named in the squad. Full squad
Wallabies squad confirmed for World Rugby U20s Championship
World Championship veterans Esei Ha’angana, Will Harrison, Trevor Hosea, Isaac Lucas, Fraser McReight, Josh Nasser, Pat Tafa, Semisi Tupou and Michael Wood have all regained selection following impressive performances on the Gold Coast and were a part of the Junior Wallabies 2018 World Championship Campaign in France.
The squad is also set to welcome Australian Schoolboy Nick Frost, having recently signed with the Brumbies from the Crusaders Academy. Full story
Buthelezi to lead Junior Springboks at World Rugby U20 Championship
Phendulani Buthelezi will lead the Junior Springbok World Rugby U20 Championship squad, which features four players who participated in the tournament last year, for the global showpiece in Argentina from 4 to 22 June.
The 28-man squad – consisting of 16 forwards and 12 backs – also includes Springbok Sevens player Angelo Davids, who played in in the Hong Kong and Singapore HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series tournaments, and Buthelezi’s Sharks’ Super Rugby team-mates Fezokuhle Mbatha (hooker) and JJ van der Mescht (lock). Match officials selected for RWC 2019
