Jaco Kriel heading to Japan
The Golden Lions Rugby Union have confirmed that Springbok flanker Jaco Kriel will head to Japan after his Springbok commitments to take up a contract with the Kubota Spears.
Kriel will spend the Currie Cup season in the far east and return for Super Rugby next year in a deal he has done with the Lions.
Dean Greyling heads to France
Former Springbok prop Dean Greyling has been released from his contract with the Bulls and will join French club Oyonnax for the next two seasons.

Former Springbok prop Dean Greyling has been released from his contract with the Bulls and will join French club Oyonnax for the next two seasons.
The 30-year-old, who played almost all of his career in Pretoria, will join Southern Kings captain Steven Sykes at the French club for the coming season.
Lions extend Brink's contract
The Golden Lions Rugby Union have confirmed they have extended the contract of flanker Cyle Brink.
Brink, who has come through the junior systems at the Lions, made his breakthrough into the Super Rugby side this year after 14 appearances for the Golden Lions Currie Cup side.
The 22-year-old flanker is set to stay at Ellis Park for another two years.
