The Crusaders maintained their unbeaten start to the Super Rugby Aotearoa season by beating the Highlanders 40-20 on Saturday.

 

 

Will Jordan scored another brace of tries as the Crusaders defeated the Highlanders 40-20 to make it three wins from three at the start of the Super Rugby Aotearoa campaign.

Although the Crusaders' marched to a 20 point victory, the scoreline was somewhat flattering to the victors, especially considering the fact that the Crusaders almost went behind with less than 30 minutes to play.

A promising attack into the Crusaders' 22 led to Richie Mo'unga defending three Highlanders' attackers with 15 metres between the ball carrier and touchline.

The All Black first five made an excellent read and tackle to dislodge the ball from Jona Nareki's hands as he looked to make the pass to stop a certain try.
