Warriors sign Super Rugby scrum-half Dowsett

Warriors have signed English-qualified scrum-half Michael Dowsett.
 
The 24-year-old joins up with his new teammates immediately to provide further competition for the number-nine jersey at Sixways.

Head Coach Carl Hogg said: "Obviously we were really disappointed to lose Francois Hougaard for a lengthy period of time but we're delighted to capture someone of Michael's quality.
 
"He is a young, hungry player who will provide stiff competition for the scrum-half jersey."

Dowsett spent three seasons with Australian Super Rugby side Brumbies, having made his debut back in 2014.
 

The half-back went on to make 22 appearances for the Canberra-based side, with the latest coming in this year's Super Rugby campaign.
