Two players in line for debut as Leo Cullen names side to face Connacht in Galway

Two uncapped players among the replacements as Leo Cullen names side to face Connacht at Dexcom Stadium
The Leinster Rugby team, proudly sponsored by Bank of Ireland, to take on Connacht Rugby in Round 5 of the BKT United Rugby Championship tomorrow at Dexcom Stadium (KO: 7.35pm, live on TG4 and Premier Sports 1) has been named by Head Coach Leo Cullen.

There are two uncapped players in the matchday 23, while Rabah Slimani is set to make his first start since joining from ASM Clermont Auvergne over the summer after making two appearances off the bench so far this season.

In all, there are seven changes to the starting XV from last Saturday's win over Munster in front of a URC record crowd of 80,468 at Croke Park.

It's a new-look front row with Slimani joined by Jack Boyle and Academy hooker Gus McCarthy, while James Ryan captains the side from the second row where he is once again partnered by RG Snyman.

Max Deegan is in line to make his fourth appearance of the season, with Will Connors and James Culhane completing a changed back row.

Academy winger Andrew Osborne is the only change to the backline from Saturday's win, with his brother Jamie continuing his run of starting every game so far this season as he is named in the centres alongside Garry Ringrose once more.

Liam Turner retains his place on the other wing, with Hugo Keenan once more selected at full-back.

Ciarán Frawley retains his place at ten for the third game in a row, with Jamison Gibson-Park once again given the nod at scrum-half.

There are two new faces among the replacements, with Academy duo Hugh Cooney and Stephen Smyth in line to make their debuts if they are introduced to the action.

Fintan Gunne rounds out a total of five Academy players in the matchday squad as he hopes to make his third appearance of the season.

Andrew Porter provides some experience among the replacements while Thomas Clarkson will hope to continue his involvement in every game so far this season.

Brian Deeny and Scott Penny complete the forward reinforcements, while Ross Byrne is in line for his fifth appearance of the campaign.
