Raelene Castle named new Chief Executive for Rugby Australia
New Zealand Rugby has today welcomed the appointment of New Zealander Raelene Castle as the new Chief Executive for Rugby Australia.
Castle comes into rugby with four years' experience in the Australian sports market, as the Bulldogs CEO, as well as a stint as Netball New Zealand CEO.
She will begin in the role January 2018 following the resignation of Bill Pulver in August.
The Stormers confirm signing of Neethling Fouche and Joshua Stander
The Stormers have secured the services of tighthead prop Neethling Fouche and flyhalf Joshua Stander from the Bulls.
The 24-year-old Fouche has not played much for the Bulls, but WP Rugby’s director of rugby Gert Smal predicts a bright future for the player.
The 23-year-old Stander, who has been on the Bulls' books since 2013, is seen as a replacement for Robert du Preez, who has since joined the Sharks.
