The weekend saw two unbeaten sides go head-to-head in a top-of-the-table clash in Round 8 of the Greene IPA Championship, so we take a look at the leading points scorers so far this season in the competition.
5. Pete Lydon (58 points for London Scottish)
Nominated for September's Greene King IPA Championship Player of the Month Award, Lydon's left boot has been a constant match-winner in the closing stages of L. Scottish's games.
The 24-year-old's lightening performance contributed 8 points to his team's 29 - 23 defeat to Doncaster in the weekend.
4. Will Cargill (62 poinst for Cornish Pirates)
Cargill's dedication saw him finish the 2015/16 with 65 points points in 17 games for the Pirates.
He has improved his performance this season, bagging 62 points so far and may surpass his last season's personal record.
3. Will Robinson (68 points for Rotherham)
Signing for Rotherham this year, the Wasps Academy product has developed his skills and his striking ability sees him the 3rd highest points scorer so far.
2. Joe Ford (92 points for Carnegie)
Son of former Bath director of rugby, Mike, and brother of England stand-off George Ford, Joe has been nothing short of a great performer this season.
His 92 points this season secure him the second highest points scorer position.
1. Tommy Bell (102 points for London Irish)
A former England Under-18 and Under-20 international, Bell has amassed 123 points in 25 outings in all competitions for the Tigers before leaving to join London Irish.
The 25-year-old, who is comfortable playing at both fly-half and full-back, is the highest points scorer in the Greene King IPA Championship so far this season.
