La Rochelle ran out 33-24 victors over Brive in this evening's Top 14 clash at The Stade Marcel-Deflandre. In what was a thrilling clash from start to finish, both sides played some beautiful passages of attacking rugby but it was La Rochelle who just had enough to edge out this victory. Brive will be disappointed to have come so close and come away with nothing but will take some comfort in their impressive performance level.
