Tom Curry sidelined for 12 weeks

Sale Sharks flanker Tom Curry has been ruled out of England's November Test Series.

Following a scan this afternoon, it has been confirmed that Curry dislocated a small bone in his left wrist in training.  He underwent a minor operation yesterday evening and is likely to be out for up to 12 weeks.

Curry was due to be on the bench for England’s game against Argentina on Saturday. Sam Simmonds (Exeter Chiefs) has been called up to replace him.

The forward made his full England debut on the tour of Argentina last summer and has one Test cap.
