The Future is Bright: JP Phelan (First year academy)
- 1579
I was born in Straffan, Co Kildare and played my underage rugby for Naas RFC. I then went to Newbridge College where I played schools junior and senior cup rugby playing two years of junior and three years of senior cup rugby. I then played all representative levels, U-18, U-19, and U-20s with Leinster. While playing club rugby with UCD RFC, I first represented Munster during an 'A' inter-pro against Ulster Ravens in April 2015. I then joined the Munster academy that summer and in making the move to Limerick I now play my club rugby with Garryowen FC.
