Super Rugby Round 2 Highlights Stormers v Lions

First half full of exciting rugby but  a lot of penalties and handling errors, the ref gave Ali Vermaak of the Stormers a yellow card for dangerous tackling. In the second half the score was in the Lions favour with 6-14 and after a lot more penalties and a lot more handling errors from both sides the Stormers kicked over another 2 penalties to give the score at 12-14. The Lions the got a penalty of their own over and the score sat at 12-17 to the Stormers. In the 6 minutes of extra time the Stormers were playing 15 metres away from the try line of the Lions and the Lions were a player down after getting a yellow in the 74th minute. The Stormers replacement scrum half eventually got the try for his team and a kick under the posts for SP Marais and they took the win. Although we had a lot of handling errors and both teams should watch out for dangerous tackles, it was a nail biter at the end. Kwagga Smith and Malcom Marx should get special mention on the Lion's side for playing well and having a noteable effect on the game. Stormers Damian and SP Marais with thos great kicks at goal hitting 4 out of 5 and ultimately winning the game for his team. Pieter Steph-du Toit also played well as he often does.
