Sunwolves sign Wallabies loose forward McMahon

Rugby.com.au have revealed that Wallabies loose forward Sean McMahon has signed for the Sunwolves for the 2019 Super Rugby season.
McMahon has been linked with a return to Australia with the Reds, Melbourne Rebels and Western Force all interested but the back-rower has rejected all approaches. A Sunwolves official has confirmed to Rugby.com.au that the 24-year-old has committed to the Sunwolves.
The powerful no.8 was one of the start Wallabies in 2017 but left the country to sign for Top League side Suntory Sungoliath where he is reportedly earning around $800,000 per year.
His deal with the Sunwolves means that he is unlikely to feature for the Wallabies at the World Cup next year with Australia's regulations around players abroad.
For McMahon to feature for the Wallabies at the World Cup he would need to sign for an Australian Super Rugby side for the 2020 season, unless provisions are made for the World Cup.
