Cooper injured again: Quade Cooper faces a race to be fit for the World Cup after suffering his second shoulder injury of the season. The Queensland Reds out-half suffered a fracture to his right shoulder blade in his sides defeat against Melbourne Rebels. Cooper only returned to the game the week before after suffering a shoulder injury in pre season but has no relation to his new injury. It doesn't get much better for the Reds, with No.8 Schatz sidelined for four weeks after rupturing an elbow tendon.
Home sides through: Both home sides in the Champions Cup Quarter Finals are through ahead of today's huge encounters. Leinster managed to sneak through thanks to the boot of Ian Madigan kicking them all 18 points, while Clermont put Northampton to the sword to ease into the next round. Bath had Leinster on the ropes and George Ford was influential in both tries as he scored one and set up the other with great line breaks but it wasn't enough for the away side. Meanwhile in Clermont, Saints were taught a huge lesson as Clermont romped home to victory winning 37-5 in a game which was never close at all. Clermont ran in 4 tries and look like they could go the whole way in the tournament.
