Squad Update | Munster Preparing For URC Semi-Final

The Munster squad have started preparations at the HPC ahead of Saturday’s URC semi-final against Leinster at the Aviva Stadium (5.30pm).
Munster earned their place in the semi-final after a bruising win over Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun on Saturday night.
On the injury front, there were no issues for Tadhg Beirne on his return from an ankle injury as he played the full 80 minutes in Glasgow.
Peter O’Mahony (elbow) will go for a scan today and his availability will be determined later in the week.
Diarmuid Barron (shoulder) will be reviewed as the week progresses to determine his availability.
Malakai Fekitoa, Conor Murray, Calvin Nash and RG Snyman were all removed for Head Injury Assessments and are following the return to play protocols. They will all be unavailable this weekend.
Continuing to rehab: Liam O’Connor (neck), Eoin O’Connor (shoulder), Jack Daly (knee), Paddy Patterson (knee), Keith Earls (groin), Paddy Kelly (head), Andrew Conway (knee), Liam Coombes (thigh).
On the club front, there were three Greencore Munster Rugby Academy players in AIL action at the weekend.
Scrum-half Ethan Coughlan and prop Darragh McSweeney helped Shannon preserve their Division 1A status for next year as they won their promotion/relegation play-off against Highfield.
Evan O’Connell was in action for UL Bohemian as they beat Dungannon to keep their place in Division 2A.
