Sport to continue in England

Professional sport in England can continue behind closed doors, despite a new national lockdown announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson. 

After the national lockdown was announced last night there were concerns about elite sports and how it would be affected. 

All elite sports will be allowed to continue behind closed doors. 

• Elite sportspeople (and their coaches if necessary, or parents/guardians if they are under 18) - or those on an official elite sports pathway - to compete and train

The Permiership, Pro 14, Champions Cup, Challenge Cup and Six Nations are all going ahead a scheduled.
