The Seattle Seawolves are excited to announce the signing of Canadian international, Jake Ilnicki.
Ilnicki hails from Williams Lake, British Columbia and played rugby for the University of Victoria.
The Canada U20 age-grade program came knocking after early prowess with the Williams Lake Rustlers, captaining the side that faced the US in 2012.
Ilnicki made his senior men’s test debut for Canada in 2013 against Georgia and has been collecting his 31 caps ever since.
His international journey started in 2014 when he took to Australia to play for the New South Wales Country Eagles.
In 2015 Ilnicki was called up to represent his country in the Rugby World Cup.
“I've heard nothing but good things about the club and the city,” said Ilnicki. “My mom is very excited that I'm going to be playing closer to home.”
